Miami Beach

Bal Harbour is a wealthy suburb of Miami, Florida, famous for its pristine, white sand beaches, glamour, elegance, vast collection of luxury retail, and an internationally recognized hot spot for the rich and famous, dignitaries, entertainers, celebrities, royalty, and Presidents, such as John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, and Bill Clinton. Bal Harbour, originally called "Bay Harbour", was incorporated in 1946, and the founders of the Village master-planned this community, that covers less than a square mile, into a carefully designed haven for the best in luxury living and a world-class attraction for upscale tourism. Back in the 1950's, Bal Harbour and Miami Beach were known internationally as America's Riviera, where top musicians and entertainers, such as Count Basie and Guy Lombardo, were seen having drinks at Ivanhoe's Pump Room Lounge, whilst over at the Americana's Carnival Supper Club, Frank Sinatra and his "Rat Pack" were regulars.
